9/10 - 10/17 – COMPANY a musical with lyrics and music by Stephen Sondhiem and book by George Furth
This landmark musical comedy ushered in the modern musical era, and was awarded six Tonys in 1971, including Best Musical, for its innovative approach. Company is a hilarious and affecting portrayal of five married couples — as seen through the eyes of perpetual bachelor Robert. It features a brilliant, energetic, quintessentially Sondheim score, as a cast of 14 examines questions surrounding love, commitment and marriage. 39 years after the Broadway premiere, at a time when society is still passing laws and re-defining what marriage means, this hip, sexy show remains as relevant and razor-sharp as ever.

10/1 - 10/24 – THE MAIDS a classic thriller by Jean Genet
When the mistress is away, the maids will play. Two women in service to a younger socialite pass the moments of their day in playacting and fantasy. As the line between fantasy and reality begins to disintegrate, their games take a dramatic turn. Jealousy, resentment, sexual tension and murder converge in this 1947 classic French thriller, a masterpiece about power, class and corruption.

11/19 - 12/19 – SHE STOOPS TO CONQUER a comedy of manners by Oliver Goldsmith
This boisterous comedy of mistaken identities has delighted audiences for over two centuries with its gorgeous language, elegant costumes, and outright hilarity. Sparks fly when young urbanite Charles Marlow arrives at a country estate to court Kate Hardcastle, only to take her father for an innkeeper and her for a saucy barmaid! Good-natured hijinks and grand pretensions abound in this frothy romp that pits town against country and parent against child.

1/28 - 2/27 - WHO’S AFRAID OF VIRGINIA WOOLF? a drama by Edward Albee
One of the landmark plays of the twentieth century, Edward Albee’s masterpiece tells the story of George and Martha, an aging history professor and his razor-tongued wife who have returned home from another tedious faculty event at a small New England college. But the night is far from over. Martha has invited a young professor and his mousey wife for late-night cocktails and parlor conversation. Pleasantries dissolve as the liquor flows, and the party devolves into an escalating war of words between George and Martha. The unsuspecting guests are soon drawn into the volcanic battle, exposing secrets within their own marriage. By dawn, no one remains unscathed. Winner of the 1963 Tony Award and New York Drama Critics' Circle Award for “Best Play”.

2/18 - 3/13 – CIRCLE MIRROR TRANSFORMATION a new comedy by Annie Baker
Emerging playwright Annie Baker took New York by storm this past year with her originality and quirky humor. This charming award-winning new play invites the audience into an amateur theatre class in rural Vermont. Theatre games and acting exercises mirror the real drama taking place between the students. Called “Absorbing, unblinking and sharply funny” by The New York Times.

3/18 - 4/17 – RASHOMON a fable by Fay and Michael Kanin
Nominated for three Tony awards, Rashomon is a stunning examination of truth and human nature. Based on the Japanese tale of the samurai, the bandit and the woman, this intimate play’s impact is driven by the art of storytelling. Join us for this intimate, brain tickling Japanese tale that shows what men and women go through to protect their reputations and their hearts. "Delicate and dynamic, sensitive and savage, packed with color, suspense and seamy wit. A triumph of stagecraft." - N.Y. Mirror. "Rashomon is pure art of the theatre” The New York Times

4/29 - 5/15 – THE 9TH ANNUAL ORLANDO CABARET FESTIVAL
We look forward to bringing some of the world’s best cabaret talent to Central Florida during The 9th Annual Orlando Cabaret Festival, April 29 – May 15, 2011.

6/3 - 7/10 – A FUNNY THING HAPPENED ON THE WAY TO THE FORUM a musical with lyrics and music by Stephen Sondheim and book by Burt Shevelove and Larry Gelbart
"Tragedy tomorrow, comedy tonight!" Broadway's greatest farce is light, fast-paced, witty, irreverent and one of the funniest musicals ever written - the perfect escape from life's troubles. A Funny Thing Happened On The Way To The Forum takes comedy back to its roots, combining situations from time-tested, 2000 year old comedies of Roman playwright Plautus with the infectious energy of classic vaudeville. The result is a non-stop laugh-fest in which a crafty slave struggles to win the hand of a beautiful but slow-witted courtesan for his young master, in exchange for freedom. Winner of the Tony Award for Best Musical, Sondheim’s music lifts it all into the sublime.

6/17 - 7/10 A play to be announced later in the season

7/29 - 8/28 – a magical comedy soon to be announced.
This new play recently took Washington D.C. by storm, a beautiful story about physics, motherhood, and self-discovery.

8/5 - 8/28 – THE UNDERSTUDY, a smart, new comedy by Theresa Rebeck
When a Hollywood action star who is trying to prove himself in a serious Broadway play comes up against a new understudy with a chip on his shoulder and a tangled romantic past, the results are hilarious. Theresa Rebeck pokes affectionate fun at the inner workings of the world of the theatre in this smart new comedy. “Funny, funny, funny.” (The Boston Globe)
