The inaugural Homespun Chic Marketplace, one of several craft events in town we've come across, was Sunday August 8, 2010, 2:30pm-6pm. Despite rain, shoppers were out in full force at the WPFM building in downtown Winter Park. We got some shots of just a few of the many neat products these crafty business people were selling.
The rain didn't keep away shoppers
Great clutches
Wild fabrics for the kiddies
Fun potted suitcase with spoon markers
How interesting is this wreath?
Who doesn't need crotched flowers in their life?
Boo boo bags and rice packs
Pick a side
Pillows
Our pals the Bees Knees Sweet Treat gals were out in force giving free samples of the yummy treats
We were grateful to be asked to have a presence at the market and get the chance to meet with people face to face and tell them about the blog. We also had this fabulous gift basket to raffle off (the winner of which will be announced on the blog shortly!) with great products from Lure Design, Infusion Tea, Enzian Theater and IKEA.
The table we put together was a first. We don't typically do markets or do decorated tables. But we were happy with how our first-ish try came out.
A shopper singing up for our email list.
