Joseph Hayes, Producer of Jazz On Edge, gave us a very advanced update on what's going on with his "little experiment presenting jazz."
1. He's taking Mr. Brian Groder (from Jazz On Edge volumes 1 and 2) to Gaeta, Italy in October for an international version of Jazz On Edge, playing at a couple of small clubs with local Italian musicians.
2. November 13th is the fest's first, invitation-only house concert with the Cook Trio, where they'll present this Orlando-based Gypsy guitar band playing their masterful style of gitano and jazz manouche music, introduce cookbook author Belinda Hulin to Orlando with her new book, Roux Memories: A Cajun-Creole Love Story, AND webcast the entire show live on the JazzOnEdge.com website, Livestream and Facebook.
3. Then in 2011, Jazz On Edge returns to the Garden Theatre on February 12, where they'll feature local musicians and a major national headliner.
