About: Orlando Latin Food & Wine Festival is the premier culinary and wine festival in Central Florida with a Latin twist. With a series of delightful events, the festival promises to bring an exquisite experience for all expected 3,000 to 5,000 attendees. Join an audience of food and wine aficionados at the Latin Food and Wine Festival 2010 (LFW).
On the evening of Friday, October 1st, the festival will kick off with Savor the Night, an intimate culinary affair hosting approximately 300 VIP guests. Savor the Night will take place at the beautiful rooftop of the Stirling Global Gallery at The Plaza in Downtown Orlando on Orange Avenue. Central Florida’s most respected restaurant critic, Scott Joseph will be the evening’s emcee. Enjoy palatable dishes from Crave, Amazonas, Pío Pío Latin Cuisine, Chef Rama, De La Vega Restaurante y Galería, Gargis, Nelore Churrascaria, Dolce Bakery, Unique Cakes, Makers Mark, Hooters, Rums of Puerto Rico, Standard Coffee and much more. Savor the Night will also feature a silent auction featuring hotel stays, gift baskets, restaurant gift certificates, art, and more. Colombian artist Alicastro and DJ Memo will entertain you during this succulent evening. Tickets for this event are limited and you must RSVP. Prices for Savor the Night are $45.00, until September 26th. Savor the Night prices includes parking at the Plaza. The event will take place from 6:30pm to 9:30pm.
The festival’s main feature will be on Friday, Oct. 2 with the Grand Tasting at the stunning Dellagio Town Center, (7940 Via Dellagio Way, Orlando Fl, 32819). Enjoy a culinary extravaganza with a Latin flair! Sample perfect-size dishes from some of Central Florida’s finest restaurants and distributors, wonderful wines, spirits, and beers, all celebrating the world of Latin cuisine. Enjoy great entertainment from Suva, Alicastro, Ariel Nan, DJ Memo, Grupo Kompas, Ravelli and much more. Admission to the Grand Tasting is free. All food and beverages must be purchased with LFW “Pesos” to be sold throughout the Festival ($1 = 1 LFW Peso). The Grand Tasting begins at 6:00pm until 10:00pm.
