We'd asked entrants to our most recent ticket giveaway contest (two free tickets to Halloween the Musical Oct 22 and 24, 2010) which musical the two lead characters in the show, Michael Myers and Laurie, should star in next and which roles should they play. Reminder: Michael Myers is the masked killer and Laurie is the screaming Jamie Lee Curtis. The composer of the musical, John DeHaas, chose the winner and its Meghan Moroney! Here's her answer:
"Clearly, as they are related, romantic coupling will serve to make the audience terribly uncomfortable . . . However, isn't it time for an Evita revival? Michael's rage would make for a fabulous Che, and Laurie's understand of death at such a young age would inform her choices of terminal, yet plucky, Eva. Bonus: Dr. Loomis as Peron . . .and John Graham as Magaldi."
Moroney wins a pair of tickets to either of the show's two performances: October 22 and 24, 2010. Get your own tickets here.
