The Christ School is doing "One Great Day of Service" October 22, 2010 10-11:00am. The kids will be all over town doing good deeds that day. See below for the full schedule:
2nd Grade - Westminster Care - 830 29th Street, Orlando – Students will interact with residents, play games, clean, sort items and improve the grounds.
2nd Grade – Westminister Towers - Lucerne Circle, Orlando - Students will visit residents and interact with a therapy dog, read books, and participate in crafts and song time.
3rd Grade – Easter Seals Day Break - 2010 Mizell Avenue, Winter Park – Students will interact with clients; craft time; Easter Seals.
3rd Grade – Seniors First – 99 E Marks Street, Orlando – Students will interact with seniors, help serve lunch.
4th Grade - Clean The World - 8026 Sunport Drive, Orlando – Students will collect soap donations for the center to make recycled soap for World Countries.
5th Grade – Green Up Orlando – Langford Park1808 E. Central, Orlando – Students will clean up flowerbeds of non-native species, historical/ecological tour of the park.
6th Grade - Christian Service Center - 808 W. Central, Orlando – Students have collected
donated items for hygiene bags to be distributed by the Center, will sort food in food pantry and will help clean up the grounds.
6th Grade - Orlando Day Nursery - 626 Lake Dot Circle, Orlando – Students have collected gently used books and will interact with the preschoolers and help on the playground.
7th Grade - Second Harvest Food Bank - 1918 W. Princeton Avenue, Orlando – The students have collected and will donate/sort non-perishable items.
8th Grade - United Cerebral Palsy Holloway Center - 3305 S. Orange Avenue, Orlando - The students will interact with the pre-schoolers, help make decorations for an upcoming event and clean the playground.
