The 7th Annual “Chanukah in the Park” sponsored by the Chabad of Greater Orlando is December 5, 2010 5pm-8pm in Central Park on Park Avenue in Winter Park.Entertainment will include Israeli singer Yoel Sharabi performing American Jewish songs including Fiddler on the Roof, Ice Sculpture by Laz from Ice Pro who will create a menorah which will be lit as blessings are recited, Hassidic Dancers and a performance by the children from the Jewish Community Center and the Hebrew Academy. There will also be the lighting of a twenty foot menorah, a recording studio to record your best Chanukah memory, photographing opportunities, a craft table, latkes and donuts as well as traditional gelt for the children. All of this for you to enjoy at no charge.
Hot Dogs, Soda and Chips will be available for purchase as will Judaic items. There will be a drawing for $1,000 cash prize. Single tickets are available for $5 or five tickets for $20.
