The Orlando Public Library has a number of interesting events happening this month. Check some out:

December 2nd at 10:30 am – Clowning Around at the Library. Meet and interact with a Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey clown.
December 4th at 2pm – What You Need to Know about Surviving the Holidays, a workshop hosted by Suellen Fagin-Allen.
December 8th at 3pm – A.R.T.: Polynesian Dance class for teens 13-18.
December 9th at 6pm – Teen Talent Show (ages 13-18 can perform).
December 11th at 11:30am – Hand Bells with Marie Loeffler. Learn how to play handbells while listening to holiday music.
December 11th at 12:30pm – Paranormal Discussion Series with the Florida Ghost Team
December 11th at 2pm – Second Saturday: Katie Brown. Listen as she performs holiday music on the piano.
December 11th at 4pm – Meet Seven-Time Florida Lottery Winner: Richard Lustig as he shares his secrets to success.
December 12th at 2pm – Winter Wonderland Wedding Cake. Taste and create cakes with Gigi Valentin of Le Gigi’s Bakery.
December 12th at 4pm – Vietnamese Cuisine Queen. Chef and author Ha Roda offers workshops and cooking lessons.
December 15th at 3:30pm – How to Survive Winter Madness and a Big, Fat Yeti (ages 13-18)
December 18th at 12pm – Local Authors Festival. Meet and greet various Orlando authors.
December 20th , 21st, 22nd, 23rd, 27th at 10:30am – Winter Break Movie Madness (all ages).

In addition, the library has a range of free ongoing classes, including ones on Photoshop, Word, Excel, QuickBooks, PowerPoint, Publisher, Outlook, Access, HTML programming, GIMP, iPhones/iPads/iPods, and various websites (Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Google, eBay). It also hosts workshops on resume and cover letter writing, and job interview techniques. Find daily storytelling classes for kids, and a monthly book club group as well.
