As thousands head to the polls to vote for Florida’s next Governor or Orange County’s next Mayor, one race in Orlando has already been decided – the next “Mayor” of the Amway Center. Those checking in at the Amway Center using Foursquare since October 1, 2010 were in the running, but only one person checked in... 49 times as of 10am today. That person is the Mayor and will win tickets to "some of the biggest events happening during the inaugural year at Amway Center." The announcement will be made today, November 2, 2010 at 2:30pm at the Amway Center Tower at the corner of Church Street and Hughey Avenue in downtown Orlando.
