I am excited about the next show Neon Forest Art Gallery (1741 S Orange, Avenue, Orlando)is putting on called "Full Bleed" because it features the poster and print work of Orlando-based graphic design agency Lure Design. Opening night is November 20, 2010 7pm-12am. Booze provided by the Mills/50 liquor staple Wally's. Free admission. In addition to celebrating the opening of the Lure Design show, Neon Forest is also celebrating the release of the 3rd issue of Et Cetera Magazine. (See our neighborhood guide)
I love Lure Design! I had the extreme honor of producing a show of their work January 2010. The whole staff is friendly and their work is top notch. Cannot wait to see what new work they've got in this show.
About Lure Design: Lure has been making rock posters since the mid 90s. Combining their mutual interests of music, design and printmaking, Jeff Matz, Paul Mastriani and Sarah Blacksher design hand-pulled screen printed limited-edition gems on a weekly basis, and through their sister company L2 Design Collective, have a line of screen printed note cards, journals and other ephemera.
They are a full-functioning studio of 4 peeps-able to handle a full spectrum of design projects along with the posters they love so much. A bevy of posters will be available just in time for the holidays! Their other interests include bacon, cupcakes, the smell of old books and their new beloved Canon 7D.
