On Friday February 12, 2010, Performance Artist Brian Feldman allowed anyone who showed up to the Orange County Courthouse at 3pm to marry him. Three showed up. He played spin-the-bottle to select his bride: artist Hannah Miller.
His goal was to protest the ban on same-sex marriage by showing that two strangers can legally marry, but a same-sex couple cannot.
That marriage will be annulled January 19, 2011 at 9:15am at the Orange County Courthouse (425 N. Orange Ave., Courtroom 1411), much to the delight of Hannah's boyfriend, artist Jack Fields.
