Sorry to say that once again, this is a lean seven days, so there is no This Week in Gigs column. But I’m very excited about seeing Tig Notaro tomorrow night, and you should be too. You may have seen her acting on various shows, most recently as the bartender in the Troy’s birthday episode of Community. She was also a cast member on The Sarah Silverman Program, and more relevantly, has performed stand-up on Kimmel, Leno, Last Comic Standing, and Comedy Central Presents… She’s a regular guest on the podcasts Doug Loves Movies, and Comedy Death-Ray Radio, where her character “Good-One Robot” is one of my favourite things in the world. Get your new year off on the right foot - the funnier of the two feet, I think we can all agree - and come down to see Tig.
