Eyeless Cat Adopted In 24 Hours


We told you about the eyeless cat named Smokey Monday February 7, 2011 and our offer of a fifty buck donation to the Orange County Animal Services if someone stepped up and adopted him. Folks spread the story on Facebook & Twitter and the Orlando Sentinel put it on their Animal Crazy blog.

Many folks offered up their own financial donation, bringing the grand total to $400. And best of all, Smokey got adopted! In around than 24 hours! Orange County Animal Services confirmed it on Facebook Tuesday night around 7pm:
