Join Simple Living Institute, Disney, KaBoom, I.D.E.A.'s and more community partners for the garden start-up at Orlando Day Nursery (ODN) Wednesday, March 16, 2011, 8am - 2:30pm at Orlando Day Nursery, 626 Lake Dot Circle (off 50 near Orange ave.), Orlando, FL.
Planters will be precut and ready for assembly. No power tools allowed for safety reasons as there may 200 volunteers there through the day and children will be present and working on projects also that day. Breakfast, Lunch, and a Magic of Healthy Living T-shirt will be provided. Arrive at 7:45 am for breakfast and registration. Ribbon-Cutting Ceremony from 2:30 p.m. - 3:00 p.m

They are looking for donations of these plants and seeds: Parsley, Rosemary, Beans, Cantaloupe, Carrot, Collard, Mustard, Okra, Southern Peas, New Zealand Spinach, Sweet Potato, Cherry Tomato, Watermelon
Parking Directions: in an effort to reduce our carbon footprint they encourage you to carpool. The nursery is on Lake Dot Circle just off of Colonial Drive. As mentioned, parking is at the old Arena parking lot on Amelia St. Once parked you will register and take a short walk to ODN. The nursery will be on the left side of the lake when coming from the Arena.
