Thursday March 10, 2011 at 10am, Orlando Mayor Buddy Dyer will deliver his annual State of the City address streaming live on cityoforlando.net and in person at Council Chambers. Two themes he will speak on: (1) Help lay the foundation for the private sector to create jobs and opportunity for our residents and (2) Keep our neighborhoods and families safe. Residents and business owners are invited to participate in a question and answer session immediately following the address.At 1pm, he will spotlight the efforts he speaks about in his address by working a shift at the locally-owned Blue Bird Bake Shop (3122 Corrine Drive, Orlando, FL). The bakery is a member of the City’s Audubon Park Garden Mainstreet District. The mayor will wrap up his shift at 3pm.
