The next 1st Thursdays at Orlando Museum of Art is Thursday, April 7, 2011, 6pm - 9pm. With your $10 ticket, the event includes admission to the full museum, a locals' gallery (this month's theme is "Fashionista"), live music, food available for purchase (no credit cards!), some sort of performance in the theatre and some tables in the hallway promoting various local arts orgs.
This month the band is Dr. Otto, the food is by Epic Catering and The Bohemian Baker, the theatre will show the 2011 Florida Film Festival Preview Reel, The Blue Ladies Fusion Belly Dance Troupe, Orlando Ballet School and a Sculpting Demonstration by Steve Piscitelli.
There will also be performances by Stein Mart Fashion Modeling, Candace Reed Hair Design, Brian Feldman and Johannah O’Donnell. The arts orgs in the hallway this month are Florida Artists Registry and Red Chair Project.
