August 19. 2010: Mayor Buddy Dyer at Karen Russell's Mobile Art Show

I met Karen Russell in 2010. Her large paintings were sitting on the sidewalk in front of Blank Space Gallery, as was she. I pulled over and told her about the Mobile Art Shows I was doing at the time and asked if she'd be interested. She ended up doing one. The Mayor came, she sold two pieces and got one commission. Then she got into some group shows at Mother Falcon. Now come June, she'll have her own show at Mother Falcon! I'm so happy she's getting more and more exposure because from the start, I loved her work. Her Mother Falcon solo show opens Saturday, June 25, 211 at 8:30pm. The show runs til July 29 at Mother Falcon Clothing (817 E. Washington Street, Orlando, FL).
