Orlando Fringe 2011 Review: Doctor WHOse Line is it Anyway?

Any opportunity I have to see my favorite improv comedians in town is always something I look forward to! Doctor WHOse Line is it Anyway? is exactly how it sounds - a combination of the famous movie "Doctor Who" and sketch comedy, served up with local performers including some of my favorites from the main ensemble at SAK Comedy Lab: Jim Doyle, Charles Frierman and Stephen Kadwell, to name a few.

Like all improv comedy, every show is different and never to be seen again. I was lucky enough to see the Professor battle out the likes of slow-moving Cybermen with his trusty companion through time and space. The added visual effects that turn The Patron's Room into outer space provide an additional lift to the funny show.

At a bargain ticket rate of $5 at the Orlando Fringe Festival, there's no excuse to miss this hilarious show, though it might be funnier if you have actually seen "Doctor Who."
