TheDailyCity.com Orlando Food Truck Bazaar #2 Comes Back Bigger and Better With More Trucks, Music and Fun

Orlando Fashion Square was the host venue to thousands of guests at the second edition of our TheDailyCity.com Orlando Food Truck Bazaar last night, Sunday May 1, 2011. With 15 food trucks, The Lazy Afternoon live DJ-ing, A Mediocre Time live-podcasting, unlimited parking, free admission, and tons of space, the mood was chill, fun and delicious.

Folks who brought chairs could relax and eat.
Tailgating action. You can't see it, but there are folks also eating inside the truck.
The DJ group The Lazy Afternoon kept the mood mellow and chill
Even without chairs, this couple enjoyed their meal together right behind Korean BBQ Taco Box.
Katie from Katie's Cucina in line with other happy (and hungry) folks about to place their orders
Lines are just a reality of food truck events of this size. Expect 'em.
A truck new to the bazaar family, the Country Chuck Wagon
The Yum Yum Cupcake Truck brought 700 cupcakes to the first bazaar and sold out. This time they brought 1,400... and sold out. People love these things!
The Red Eye BBQ Truck did more business at this bazaar than at the last.
At the entrance, volunteers let guests know about long wait times and gave some tips on what to expect. They handed out 400 flyers giving the "hard facts" run down, and when those ran out, they told them verbally. We hope this helped people prep for the experience.
For those who wanted a quick bite and couldn't wait in Big Wheel truck's line, food and drink by the gourmet truck was sold at a table right next to the truck. That's food blogger Droolius on the left snapping photos for his blog
Before they opened, the brand new Melissa's Chicken & Waffles Truck had a line. We were so happy to have this truck launch at the bazaar. It was the very first time the truck served in Orlando! Congratulations and welcome to the food truck family!
All the way from Miami, The Wing Commander told us they enjoyed Orlando's bazaar and getting to meet the local truck owners and diners. We hope to have them back!
Before they opened, the Pupusas truck had a line as well.
The view as diners entered
Bazaar Founder and Producer Mark Baratelli being interviewed by a team of filmmakers producing a documentary on the Orlando food truck scene.
The insanely popular podcast A Mediocre Time recorded an episode right there at the bazaar. They walked the lines and struck up conversations with diners, like Colleen Burns, the Yelp rep.
Did you stop by the food blogger table? If not, you missed out on some great information and the chance to meet the folks behind these great blogs. And, you missed the "I Love Food Trucks" t-shirts! This is a shot of the back of them. We forgot to get a shot of the front! Oops!
