We have Thornton 3rd Thursday Art Walk on TheDailyCity.com calendar each month, but in case you missed it, the next one is Thursday, May 19, 2011 7pm - 9pm at E. Washington Street, N. Summerlin Avenue, and Central Boulevard.
Visitors gather for the Thornton 3rd Thursday Art Walk to celebrate art and partake in an evening of sights, sounds, food, shopping, and cosmopolitan fun. On a typical Thornton 3rd Thursday Art Walk, non-traditional art venues (think restaurants, boutiques, and salons) spotlight the best of established and emerging Orlando-based artists. Expect the unexpected as each month is uniquely an experience in art and culture.
The stroll is on E. Washington Street to N. Summerlin Avenue and to Central Boulevard. Basically from Graffiti Junction to Hue Restaurant and ALL the places in between. Though many shops are open earlier, the Thornton 3rd Thursday Art Walk officially starts at 7:00 p.m. and runs to 9:00 p.m. with restaurants and bars staying open considerably later. Parking:Thornton Park Parking Garage with entrances on North Eola Drive and East Washington Street. Street parking is available if you can find it.

*Nobe Nova: Parker Sketch & FOOD TRUCKS Galore in the parking lot!
*Mother Falcon: Art of Nelson Martin & Cold War themed Art Show with complimentary wine.

*Graffiti Junction: Brandon McLean & artist Tattoo Bill. $3 drinks all night and complimentary champagne from 8-10 for ladies.
*Hue Restaurant will have LIVE Jazz band & drink specials.
*Shari Sushi will host the Chart Art Group.
*Dexters will be offering ladies night drink specials and hosting local artists Tracy Burke, Ralph Verano, & Brian Soderlind
*Cityfish: Complimentary oysters (yum).
