Thornton 3rd Thursday is a monthly sidewalk art sale, food and wine celebration in the heart of
Thornton Park that takes place on the third Thursday of each month, 9pm - 9pm. Shops that normally dye peoples hair and sell custom t-shirts and blend power-smoothies turn into short-term art galleries for the night, displaying works of art above chair hair dryers and below coat hooks. Glasses of wine are handed to anyone (of legal drinking age) who shows up to any gallery-shop. Makes the night that much more fun. One salon even offered kareoke the night I went (Thursday June 16, 2011). This is a fun time and I highly recommend it. -Mark
