Headdress Ball in 22nd Year Promises Las Vegas Fun and Giant Hats

The 22nd Annual Headdress Ball is September 17, 2011 and is Orlando's most outrageous black tie event. It is a who's who extravaganza filled with lively entertainment, sumptuous food and libations, and a contest the likes of which you have never seen before. From a small floral competition, this annual event has come into full bloom as a full-on Las Vegas-style show and production. In addition to the dinner, awards, and live auction, there is a full Las Vegas-style show and Headdress competition. Local businesses create headpieces and costumes, up to 13 feet tall, out of the most outrageous materials with creative and sometimes risqué designs. The Headdresses never fail to wow and delight guests.

Individual tickets are priced from $200 to $350 depending on location. Tables for 10 range from $2,000 for 10 regularly priced seats together at the same table, to $3,500 for 10 seats at a closer table, all the way up to 5,000, $10,000, and more for Corporate sponsor tables of 10 offering the best seats in the house, with all sorts of perks, including advertising in the program, VIP reception, open bar, and dedicated cocktail server for your table during dinner and show, wine on the table, massages, and gift bags. Hilton Orlando (International Drive near the beach line) has generously donated space for our three ring circus: the main event, and both VIP and AfterGlow Receptions. This event is produced by Hardrive Entertainment, and the 2011 Chuck Hummer Visionary Award Corporate Recipient, John Best Entertainment. Subscriber friend and reigning first lady of the Parliament House, Darcel Stevens, will also be presented the Chuck Hummer Award for his/her longstanding personal commitment and many contributions of time, talent, and fundraising over the years.
