The annual
International Pillow Fight Day was brought to Orlando by Brian Feldman and given the name "Pillowlando." Each year since 2008, folks have gathered in a large open space, fought like dogs with safe pillows, taken photos and sweat (it's April in Orlando). At the end of the fight, they assemble and take a group photo. Before the fight, they were strangers. After the fight, they're still strangers but with the common bond of being hit by and hitting each other. It's a 30 minute don't-miss fun irreverent cultural event we should be grateful is in our city. Even if you don't want to whack, we recommend you stand on the sides and watch, take photos and laugh along in the fun atmosphere.
