Hydroponic Grower Village Farms Reloactes to Lake Mary From NJ

The second largest hydroponic grower in North America is relocating its headquarters to Lake Mary, Fla. With their back office already located in Metro Orlando, Village Farms International, Inc. will expand their presence and move their headquarters from New Jersey to Florida. They plan to hire up to 21 new positions over the next three years at wages 200% higher than the average wage for Seminole County.


Village Farms International, Inc. has received approval from the state of Florida and Seminole County for an incentive package worth approximately $147,000 ($29,400 from Seminole County; $117,600 from the State) from the Qualified Target Industry (QTI) tax refund program.


Seminole County, Enterprise Florida, Workforce Florida, State of Florida and the Metro Orlando Economic Development Commission (EDC) have all been partners in this project.
