Orlando Food Truck Zoca is Actually Aramark

If the Burger King food truck made you roll your eyes, get a load of this: Aramark, provider of corporate food, linens and more, now has one, too. But did they name it the Aramark Food Truck? No. They've chosen the name Zoca Food Truck (Twitter).

You won't see it buzzing around town (yet). It mainly hops employee parking lots on the Walt Disney World campus. We find this interesting because Disney is constantly bringing locally owned and operated food trucks onto property to sell to guests at marathons, car shows and private events. But when it comes to serving it's own employees? Aramark.

We're not saying a corporation doesn't have the right to jazz up lunch for employees. It sure beats waiting in line in a cafeteria (to some). But when it comes out into the real world, we hope Zoca Food Truck and Aramark will be forthright in letting people know that the truck isn't a mom & pop operation. Again, nothing wrong with co-opting a form factor, but you have to be up front about the company behind it. Just our two cents.

If you have a photo of the Zoca Food Truck you will allow us to use on our site, send it to mark@thedailycity.com. Thanks!
