WhirlyDome Grand Opening and Olympics

WhirlyDome (6464 International Drive) has been open since May 21, 2012 and they're now having their Grand Opening Saturday, June 30, 2012, 11am-2am. Before that on Friday, June 29, 2012 at 3pm, WhirlyDome will host its first WhirlyDome Olympics. Six teams of five players will compete in WhirlyBall, Laser Tag, Bowling, Lazer Frenzy and the F1 Racing Simulator to win the Gold, Silver and Bronze awards. 

During the grand opening and the olympics, guests will get specials including $5 WhirlyBall, Laser Tag and F1 Simulator Racing experiences. In the Bloodhound Brew Pub and Eatery, guests can enjoy their first Bud or Bud Light draft beer for $1.01, Bacardi Flavor cocktails for $3 and Jack Daniels cocktails for $4. 

WhirlyBall is the world's first totally mechanized team sport; a combination of bumper cars, basketball, Jai-alai and hockey. It's the centerpiece of the WhirlyDome, a brand-new multi-million dollar attraction that also features a Formula One racing simulator (the first of its kind in North America), Laser Frenzy, Laser Tag, a self-serve bowling cafe, billiards, arcade, live entertainment and the Bloodhound Brew Pub & Eatery, a casual dining restaurant with a full service bar.
