Solar Bears and Florida Everblades Faceoff for Back-to-Back Games

Orlando Solar Bears announced today that they will compete in preseason exhibition games against the Florida Everblades on Friday, October 5, and Saturday, October 6. Both games will be played at the Germain Arena, the home of the Everblades, in Estero, Florida.

Digging the team names.  Hopefully, there will be more like them.  Maybe next we will hear about the Eustis Emperor Penguins.  Sanford Snowy Owls.  Auburndale Arctic Hares.  Hockey in Florida - we are doing our best, but surely excited about the hometown team. 

The Solar Bears will battle with the Everblades on two consecutive nights, as they face-off at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, October 5, and 7:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 6.

The Solar Bears begin the regular season with three straight games on the road against the Everblades. The Home Opener for the “Out of Hibernation” season starts at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 20. Single Game tickets go on sale on Wednesday, September 19, and can be purchased online at www.OrlandoSolarBearsHockey.com as well as through the Amway Center Box Office.
