On Septemebr 29, 2012, The Daily City was invited to attend the media preview of the 2012 Epcot Food & Wine Festival.
We were invited to a private continental breakfast inside the Chase Lounge within the old Wonders of Life Pavilion. We were met with free baked goods, fruit, coffee and juice. The room was more than media. Most of the people in there seemed to be regular guests.
The interactive touch screen map about the festival was impressive at first until my friend, a computer programmer, pointed out all the flaws.
Many more people were in the lounge during the latter part of the day than in the morning. We all just wanted to sit and get out of the heat.
Sipping chocolate was provided free of charge in front of the lounge.
