With Halloween just days away it's time to start thinking to the rest of the holiday season.  As retailers prepare for the winter season one of the first major holiday events in the area is the Festival of Trees ($10 for adults).  The trees are auctioned off and can be used in individuals houses later in the season.  The Festival of Trees, now in it's 26th year the festival this year will be themed to “Once Upon A Time…A Fairy Tale Festival." Designers will incorporate the whimsy and tradition of everyone’s favorite fairy tales, along with the latest design trends, as they trim their trees into amazing holiday creations.

The festival runs from the 10th of November through the 18th with a special kick-off gala on the 9th.  There are stations with crafts, holiday treats, jewelry for sale, and a gingerbread village. A family friendly Reindeer Romp: Peter Pans PJ Party ($12) will happen on the 14th and will feature pictures with Santa, face painting, and other family friendly activities.  On the 16th a Holiday Stroll ($40) will feature live music and selections from many of Orlando's finest restaurants.

Be sure to check back as we will be releasing our annual Christmas list with many of the areas  activities on it soon.
