While in Miami we made to visit Miami’s Independent Thinkers presents: Miami’s Independent Thinkers ART BASEL 2012. The 4-day fair featured local artists working across a range of media – painters, photographers, filmmakers, sculptors, animators, writers, musicians, muralists, performance and new media artists. We swung by and checked out the artwork. A live DJ, a performance artist, and a field with large outdoor art in it filled out the exhibit. Food was provided by Miami's rustic Greek restaurant Egg & Dart, including an amazingly yummy Greek salad on a stick! Miami’s Independent Thinkers is a homegrown organization dedicated to the unity, development and promotion of Miami’s flourishing art community.
