2012 was a good year for Buddy Dyer. He won reelection, became a storm trooper, tried his hand at installing window AC units, and even got an Op-Ed published in the Huffington Post. But not to worry because he seems set to make 2013 even more interesting. Dyer announced on Thursday, January 25th via Facebook that he and Belle Isle Mayor Bill Brooks will both be participating in Cupid's Undie Run happening on February 9th. The underwear fun run that will circle a small area of downtown helps raise funds for the neurofibromatosis focused Children's Tumor Foundation. The run cost $30 and there are pre and post parties planned at Harry Buffalo. Doors open at noon on February 9th with the race at 2:30. Different fundraising levels come with different benefits including a VIP open bar status for those who raise $150. The run is 21+ and pre-registration is encouraged as there is limited space. So you're the type that hates clothes or if you just got the hots for our sexy Mayor this might be one run you don't want to miss.
