Since 1993 MegaCon has been one of the best places to see all things sci-fi since it's humble beginnings 20 years ago. This year the multi-genre convention is once again the place to be in March for anyone even remotely interested in sci-fi, anime, fantasy, or comic books. This year's event will take place at the Orange County Convention Center on March 15-17, 2013.
The convention always has a huge list of celebrities who are available for autographs and photo-ops. The list of celebs that will appear at the event include;
- Patrick Stewart and the cast of Star Trek: The Next Generation,
- Lou Ferrigno of The Incredible Hulk,
- Oliver and James Phelps who played the Weasley twins in the Harry Potter films,
- Billy West who did many of the main voices in Futurama, Ren and Stimpy, and Jimmy Neutron,
- Tara Strong who does the voice of Twilight Sparkle on My Little Pony,
- John DiMaggio who voices Bender in Futurama,
- Lear Bunda of Aqua Teen Hunger Force and Squidbillies,
- Gigi Edgley of Farscape,
- David Prowse who was Darth Vader,
- 8 of the Micro Championship Wrestlers
- Paul Bradford and Scott Tepperman of Ghost Hunters International 4
- along with many others from various movies, television shows, comic books, and musical acts.
Tickets range from $24.99 for a one day in advance ticket to $60 for an at the door three day ticket. Make sure to check the schedule for all the events happening of the weekend.
