Orlando Rep Brings to Life Dr. Seuss's The Cat in the Hat



From one of the area's best family theatre company’s comes one of the most beloved family stories. The Orlando Rep is presenting Dr. Seuss's The Cat in the Hat. Opening Thursday, February 14, 2013 and running till March 24, 2013 the production will bring to life everyone’s favorite characters from the 1954 story including Thing 1 and Thing 2, Fish, Boy, Sally, and, of course, Cat. Director Gary Cadwallader is excited to be bringing the story to life stating; "It is a superb, and I'm sure permanent, addition to the Theatre for Young Audiences repertoire." 
On February 23 and March 23 a special backstage tour will be offered following the 5:30p performances. The tours will be $5 per person. A Sensory Friendly performance will be on March 17 at 5:30p. An American Sign Language performance will be on March 16 at 5:30p and listening devices are available for all shows. Also make sure to check the Rep's site for opening Saturday specials.
