While not an official Magic Kingdom 'mountain' the hill that is the Seven Dwarfs Mine Train is slowly rising in the middle of Fantasyland. The new mine train ride is the last major piece of the New Fantasyland expansion. The family mine train ride will feature an innovative ride system with mine cars that respond to every twist and turn, swiveling from side to side throughout the ride. The majority of the ride will be an outdoor coaster but there will also be dark ride style scenes inside the 'hill' where guests will see the dwarfs as they work in the mines. The ride will also feature music from the classic film. The coaster will open in 2014.
