Orlando Philharmonic's Symphony in HD

Orlando Philharmonic’s annual fundraiser Symphony in HD will take place on Friday, May 31, 2013 at Full Sail Live.  The concert gala fuses classical music with innovative technology to create a fully immersive journey for attendees.  The full Orlando Philharmonic Orchestra will perform in front of an impressive backdrop of custom film, photography and animation that Full Sail students and faculty created for the event. This year’s program, “Music of the Night,” will use classical works and Broadway hits to take attendees on a journey of Twilight to Sunrise.  The evening’s highlight will be a special appearance by Broadway ‘Phantom,’ Davis Gaines.

A full three course meal will be provided during the concert along with a live auction.  The evening begins at 6:30p on Full Sail University’s outdoor movie set with drinks, hors d’oeuvres and a silent auction before moving into the Full Sail Live studio at 8:30 for dinner and concert. After the concert an outdoor party will allow attendees to meet the members of Orlando Philharmonic and Full Sail faculty.

Tickets for the evening, of which a portion are tax-deductible, are $250 per person.  Proceeds benefit the Orlando Philharmonic.  The Orlando Philharmonic was also recently in the news for their purchase of The Plaza Live.
