The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) will conduct a public meeting for the Orange Avenue Corridor Planning Study. The meeting will be held on Tuesday, November 19, 2013 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Beardall Senior Center located at 800 S. Delaney Avenue, Orlando, Florida 32801. The meeting will begin as an open house at 5:00 p.m. with a presentation at approximately 6:00 p.m.
The Corridor Planning Study involves the development of a range of feasible improvement strategies to provide a safe and efficient multi-modal transportation corridor that serves a wide array of users while providing and enhancing livability consistent with the future vision for the area. The project limits are Pineloch Avenue to Anderson Street, a distance of approximately two miles. This section is located within the City of Orlando and Orange County.
The meeting is being conducted to present and explain project alternatives, explain the study process, seek public and agencies input, and provide interested persons an opportunity to get involved in the study.
Public participation is solicited without regard to race, color, national origin, age, sex, religion, disability or family status.
