Central Florida residents who are looking to be a part of some palpable change in their communities are being invited by the angels over at the Hope CommUnity Center in Apopka to join together over a simple dinner to discuss the work that other change makers are doing in the area.
They are convening a Solidarity Dinner where attendees will eat the
"meal of the poor, listen to testimonies of life stories, and share an
inspirational ritual reminder of our call to break down the walls of injustice
wherever we find them by creating communities of right relationship."
Who is
coming? All people who care about social justice and Central Florida
organizations who make this community a better place for all, especially the
most vulnerable and marginalized. It's a rare occasion where this many people engaged in the fight for social justice are brought together under one roof so it seems like a great event.
Attending organizations will have tables to educate about their mission.
