The Sanford Police Department changed their mind on a decision to ban guns in Neighborhood Watch. They will allow those involved in Neighborhood Watch to continue to carry a gun, and will share this at a Tuesday night community meeting.
According to the Orlando Sentinel, "Under the new rules, volunteers will have to sign a document holding the city harmless if they carry a gun or behave in other unauthorized ways... and will be subject to background checks."
