At 2:30 p.m. on Friday, January 31, U.S. Transportation Secretary Anthony Foxx will visit Orlando at the LYNX Central Station - Terminal Lobby (455 North Garland Avenue, Orlando, FL 32801) to highlight public transportation's role in strengthening the local economy and creating the kind of ladders of opportunity that President Obama called for in his State of the Union address earlier this week. While in Orlando, Secretary Foxx will tour the nearly completed East-West Circulator Bus Rapid Transit project and take part in a brief press conference with U.S. Representatives Corinne Brown and Alan Grayson, local officials, and community members.
