2. Moebius - Last year Kim Ki-Duk's Pieta was super grody and, I thought, quite good. This year the grody gets even grodier and the artistic choices get more avant garde. Dialogue? Who needs it!? Not Kim Ki-Duk!
1. The Trip to Italy - A sequel to the great talky improvy comedy The Trip (which you can watch on Netflix Instant), this also happens to be the opening night film. Last year's opening night film, 20 Feet From Stardom, just won an Oscar. Coincidence? Probably, but a great indicator of quality.
