SunRail Night Train Pilot Starts Today and Free New Years Day Limited Service Announced

Ridership Could Determine If Night Train Service Becomes Permanent

Today, Orlando residents and visitors will have the first opportunity to ride the new SunRail night train. The Florida Department of Transportation will use this night train pilot to see if there is a demand for this enhanced SunRail service.

This new night train will get residents and visitors into the Downtown Orlando corridor easily so they can enjoy the numerous events taking place over the holidays at the Amway Center, the Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts and the Orlando Citrus Bowl Stadium.

Additionally, SunRail will offer free, limited service on New Year's Day, providing attendees of the Buffalo Wild Wings Citrus Bowl game with a hassle-free travel alternative to get Downtown.
