The festival parade starts at Macy’s parking lot in front of Orlando Fashion Square Mall and will end at Orlando Fashion Square Mall’s front entrance (between Dillard’s & JC Penney). Parade will be followed by another 5-hours of Spring Festivity that will take place at the lobby stage inside of Orlando Fashion Square Mall.
Some people may view this as an odd move. It perhaps can be perceived as less authentic when its removed from the neighborhood it started in and is placed inside a mall. Anyone who went to this event at the old venue would tell you the same thing: too many people in too small a space.
Not cute.
Now, this new venue will not only have plenty of space for 5,000 people, it will also have (1) air conditioning and (2) the ability to be a rain-or-shine event.
