The St Augustine Distillery Company (12 Riberia Street in historic Lincolnville) makes New World Gin. The gin is the world’s only, and possibly first, Florida style gin made from Florida Sugar Cane, oranges, lemon, juniper, cassia bark, angelica, and a proprietary blend of botanicals.

One of their first challenges with distilling in Florida was understanding the state’s strict laws about how liquor can be distributed and sold to customers. They had to learn a lot, not just about craft distilling, but also about the intricate rules involved with selling spirits.
