This new series is a chance to get to know the soloists that come from around the world to sing with the Bach Festival Choir and Orchestra. With repertoire selected by the artists, these intimate recitals are a great way to add a little music to your day.
The soloist to speak and sing at this event is Arisa Kusumi, soprano. About: Internationally-acclaimed light lyric soprano, Arisa Kusumi, has been praised for her “beauty, charming voice, and vivacious spirit” (The Free Times). An active performer in concert and recital repertoire, she has made appearances at the Marlboro Music Festival, the Atlanta Pro-Mozart Society, the Austrian Embassy in Washington D.C., the Austrian Cultural Forum of N.Y.C., Chamber Music Quad Cities, the Messiah Choral Society of Orlando, the Robert Schumann Philharmonic of Germany, the Verbier Festival in Switzerland, and the Bach Festival Society of Winter Park, among others. Ms. Kusumi is an Adjunct Professor of Voice at Rollins College and has taught master classes and given lectures at University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and Bob Jones University.
