Beth McKee's 1st Thursdays at Smiling Bison

March marks the one year anniversary of singer-songwriter Beth McKee's 1st Thursdays Songwriter Series at The Smiling Bison (745 Bennett Rd.). McKee uses the platform to test new material and selects other writers to do the same. This month's installment, on March 5th from 8-11pm, will feature Stephen Rock, Plane Vs. Cult, Lance Howell (of the Gainesville band Big Shoals), Mid-Century Modern and G.T. Springer.

Admission is free and the restaurant's full menu will be available until 10:00 p.m. and the late night menu until midnight. The beverage list is rich with selected craft beers and wines.
