Orlando Makers: Secret Society Goods Brings the Occult to Bandanas and Pins

Secret Society Goods (Website | Instagram) is a local brand making utilitarian goods, sometimes handmade, featuring original artwork inspired by the occult and other mystical topics.

Almost every product's pieces are sourced in the United States and some are created in Orlando.

The wooden beads on the key chains are laser-engraved at Factur (Website), the bandanas are printed using a discharge screen printing method by Orlando-based company, AKT (Website), and the pins were printed by Crown Awards  (Website).

Sean Walsh is the creative local behind the brand and its sole employee. A College Park resident since 2008, Walsh graduated from UCF with a BFA in Graphic Design. He works full-time as a Multi-Store Graphic Artist for Whole Foods Market Florida Regional Office.

Walsh is passionate about Orlando. He has "watched the city go from one struggling to find an identity to one that seems to be driven by young professionals starting small businesses."

"Starting Secret Society Goods is not just a way for me to create things that I love while expressing my own artistic vision, but a way for me to offer a contribution to the growing pool of young creatives making amazing things in Orlando," says Walsh.
