Big Box of Brooklyn - 4 Things Made in Brooklyn That We Like

Brooklyn Butcher Blocks Flannel Print Tees | Brooklyn Butcher Blocks specializes in (of course) butcher blocks but came up this great idea: a flannel-looking t-shirt! The shirt is made by American Apparel and the printing is done by Brooklyn company Prographix. Owner of Brooklyn Butcher Blocks, Nills says "When designing this shirt with my friend Rich DiBernardo, we wanted something that was humorous but also classy. I really liked the idea of plaid, a pattern that is associated with and that connotes the material flannel, being printed onto a cotton tee."

Wooden Shot Glasses by Brooklyn Butcher Blocks | Brooklyn Butcher Blocks felt it was important to keep the recognizable shape of the shot glass. They currently have walnut and oak available. The shot glasses are sent out for a process called stabilization which greatly reduces how porous they are. It virtually eliminates the need for a treatment or finish.
