Winter Park's Banned Street Performers Now Welcomed in Thornton Park

Street performers in Winter Park are no longer allowed to play music along Park Avenue after being banned from area sidewalks. Performers are now restricted to Central Park, which is across from Park Avenue, after store owners requested the ban.

Thornton Park District (Website) is inviting victims of City of Winter Park's ban on street performers to come play their instruments in their district.

The event they'll be a part of is Rock Around the Bricks. It takes place every Friday night from 5:30-8:30 in Thornton Park, and features live music around the neighborhood. Musicians who are interested in performing should email thortonparkorlando@gmail.com.
