Fringe Fanatic!

The first weekend of the 25th Orlando Fringe is in the books and from what I can tell, it looked like a record number of sold out shows for the beginning of the festival!
If you are not familiar with The Orlando Fringe, what are you waiting for?

from their website:
What is Fringe?
A 14-day arts festival that is founded on the concept of being:
100% unjuried,
100% uncensored
100% accessible
And 100% of sales are returned back to the artists!

The Orlando Fringe is the longest running Fringe Festival in the United States, celebrating 25 years as “Orlando’s most unique cultural experience”.
And for sure, it is that!

Think of Fringe as a theatrical State Fair. You must buy a button to get in to the event and then you buy tickets for your theatrical rides. The button helps offset the cost of throwing the festival and the ticket monies go to the artists! 100% of it!

In addition to all of the shows, there's also Visual Fringe, Kids Fringe and the Outdoor Stage.

Visual Fringe is the portion of the Orlando International Fringe Theatre Festival that consists of visual art. Like the theater portion of the festival, Visual Fringe is uncensored and un-juried and 100% of the money made in art sales is given back to the artists. The main focus of the Visual Fringe is to allow an outlet for artists to push beyond their usual medium, subject matter and comfort zone to bring true uniqueness to this exhibition and foster the celebration of creativity.
Be sure to stop by the Silver Venue at The Rep to see the Young Artists on display. Vote for your favorite!
Look for the ballots and vote box by the stairs.

The Kids Fringe operates on the weekends during the festival and it's FREE! This year’s KIDS FRINGE is jam-packed with stuff — there’s more entertainment, more arts, more crafts, and just more STUFF than ever! Kids Fringe is a great way for the whole family to get a taste of the larger festival. May of the shows will offer previews of their shows.
Check out the Kids Fringe schedule here.

Tips and Tricks:
There are a few absolute rules at Fringe that you must remember.

#3 If you have to leave, you can't get back in. Make sure you have gone potty.

Other tricks:
