Txokos Basque Kitchen (Website) inside East End Market (Website) closed permanently over the weekend. No reason was provided. This is the second restaurant to close at the local-centric East End Market. The first was the Asian restaurant Kappo that threatened to close if forced by DBPR to install a sneeze guard, was not forced to install a sneeze guard, then closed anyway. The owners turned the space into a themed convenience store and plan on opening a new location for their sneeze guard-less Kappo. Source: Orlando Sentinel
